A Monte Paschi Banque employee will never ask you, whatever the reason and the degree of urgency :
Never validate a transaction or a beneficiary if you are not at the origin.
Whatever the reason given, hang up, cancel the transaction then contact your Monte Paschi Banque branch.

WARNING: BEWARE OF FRAUD
In a press release (link below), the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP) announced that it had been the victim of a data breach, containing in particular bank details (RIB / IBAN), identity, account holder address and user tax identification.
Illegitimate access to the national bank account file (FICOBA)
Fraud attempts may occur in the coming days and months.
Whose affected will be contacted directly by the French Public Finances Directorate (DGFiP) in the coming days.
We therefore urge you to be extremely vigilant against any potential fraud attempts.
As a reminder, Monte Paschi Banque will never ask you to provide sensitive information such as your card or bank account numbers, or your online banking access codes, by phone, text message, or email.
